Children’s Creativity Museum ActiveFloor

The ActiveFloor is a 14’x12’ pressure-sensitive electronic floor that is part of the larger “Sense It” exhibit at the Children’s Creativity Museum in downtown San Francisco. I designed and built the floor with much help as part of a pro-bono project with my team at Adobe.

At 168 square feet with one pressure sensor per square foot, it is by far the largest electronics project I have worked on to date. See this blog post for a complete write-up on the floor’s inner workings.
